Project Manager Leader

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled project manager to lead our IT projects from conception to delivery. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring success within scope, timeline, and budget.

• Servant Leadership: Serve as a servant leader to teams, establishing and maintaining an environment where the teams are effective, fostering relationships between the teams and the Product Owner as well as other dependent teams, and protect the teams from outside interruptions.
• Open Communication and Collaboration: Encourage open communication and transparency while focusing on predictability, quality delivery, continuous improvement of the team, and overall program execution.
• Team Facilitation: Facilitate the team for better creativity and aim to improve the efficiency of the development team.
• Agile Project Management: Manage the Scrum teams developing products using Agile methodology.
• Meetings and Decision-Making: Arrange daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demos, and decision-making processes to ensure quick inspection and proper adaptation processes.
• Retrospective Analysis: Conduct retrospective meetings.
• Sprint Planning: Organize and facilitate sprint planning meetings.
• Product Backlog Maintenance: Help the Product Owner maintain the product backlogs in good shape and ready for upcoming sprints.
• Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution: Act as a problem solver and avid learner with behavioral attributes of respect, integrity, innovation, and teamwork. Resolve conflicts using Scrum values of commitment, courage, focus, openness, and respect.
• Estimation and Planning: Be an expert in estimation and planning, and create useful, reliable, and practical plans for software development projects.
• Agile Integration: Integrate Agile and Lean principles into team practices and work products.
• Metrics and Reporting: Maintain Agile charts, ratios, and metrics that provide organizational visibility and insight into the team's morale, quality, and productivity, showing continuous improvement.
• Feedback and Improvement: Utilize team feedback and metrics to identify opportunities and areas for improvement for teams.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Coach individuals and have interactions over processes, best practices, and tools, and guide the team in delivering successful outcomes using Agile Scrum.
• Goal Clarification: Help the team or individuals by clarifying goals and actions to achieve them.
• Shielding Teams: Shield teams from outside distractions and interferences.
• Scrum Process Ensurance: Ensure the correct use of the Scrum process.
• Onboarding and Mentoring: Onboard and mentor less experienced Scrum Masters.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: Proactively identify risks or impediments and facilitate quick resolutions by leveraging company networks such as PMO, IT, CS, HR, Enterprise Management, and other departments.
• Backlog Refinement: Track the preparation work required in readiness for future sprints through backlog refinement and the removal of showstopper impediments.
• Velocity Monitoring: Monitor team velocity to effectively plan product backlogs.
• Engineering Practices: Educate and promote Agile engineering practices such as pair programming, continuous delivery, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and refactoring.
• Performance Evaluation: Evaluate and inspect team and individual performance quarterly with transparency using proven key performance indicators.
• Career Coaching: Act as a career coach for team members, helping them understand and identify their natural talents and strengths, grooming their competencies, career paths, and personalities to reach their full potential.
• Domain Expertise: Build a solid understanding of the US HealthCare IT domain and provide feedback to the Business Analysis team on documentation and UX improvements.
• Client Services Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Client Services to monitor support ticket SLAs and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Estimating, Planning, and Forecasting: Be responsible for Agile estimating, planning, and forecasting.
• Culture Development: Coach Agile practices and Scrum values to cultivate the right culture.
• Interactions Facilitation: Facilitate interactions such as daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conflict Resolution: Resolve inter-team and intra-team conflicts.
• Impediment Removal: Remove impediments and roadblocks.
• Communication Channels: Create communication channels between the organization, Product Owner, developers, and stakeholders.
• Process Implementation: Implement processes and policies.
