Job Description:

The Fire System Technician will assist the engineering team in conducting site surveys, adhering to safe work practices, installing fire alarm systems, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role encompasses responsibility for driving productivity and meeting project deadlines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through on-site client engagement.
  • Ensure accurate installation of fire alarm systems by utilizing provided drawings.
  • Effectively troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
  • Manage daily interactions with clients, M&E design teams, consultants, and installers, providing regular updates to the Project/Technical Manager.
  • Verify the proper dismantling of extinguishers and fire protection systems, inspecting mechanical parts, extinguishing agents, and expelling mechanisms; replace worn or damaged components according to industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: DAE in a relevant field such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics, or an industrial engineering Diploma.
  • Proficiency in understanding and troubleshooting fire protection and suppression systems, as well as fire pump systems.
