Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, ensuring our platform remains robust and reliable.
  • Plan and coordinate data modeling and feature releases, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Envision, implement, and validate user interfaces that aggregate complex graphical data, providing valuable insights for customers.
  • Implement features and user interfaces for our products, enhancing their functionality and usability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex high-availability and high-throughput backend systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecting and implementing complex user flows on web platforms.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, and types.
  • Experience with Python, including concepts like asynchronous programming, meta-programming, types, and scientific Python.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major web framework such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, aioHTTP, or Pyramid.
  • Experience with building scalable APIs and optimizing complex SQL queries that handle large datasets. We utilize PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of E2E testing, e.g., Cypress.
  • Able to leverage cloud-native technologies and techniques to build a robust high-availability platform.
  • A growth mindset, balancing long-term engineering objectives with immediate development needs.
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
