Network Infrastructure Development Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Network Engineer to join our team in Pakistan. As an Associate Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and implementing infrastructure that supports current needs and future expansion. Your expertise will be utilized to integrate CISCO, Juniper, and other products from our portfolio for clients across Pakistan.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in deployments across Pakistan, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
  • Handle technical issues with JTAC and Cisco TAC cases, providing timely resolutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to implement network configurations such as subnet and VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN at various locations.
  • Design, integrate, optimize, and migrate networks, maintaining high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting, identifying root causes and implementing effective fixes.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integration, ensuring prompt responses and resolutions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Understand issues involved in administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, internet access, and email systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's):
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with routing protocols and switching technologies, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Advanced knowledge in network design, architecture, protocols, and topology, with a focus on innovation and improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively with end-users, communicate complex ideas clearly, and meet deadlines under pressure.

Education and Certifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on growth and development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a solid foundation in computer science and mathematics.
  • Certifications: JNCIS, JNCIA-IDP, IUWVNCCNP, CCNA, demonstrating expertise in networking technologies.

Technical Competencies:

Proficiency in R&S, VoIP, Security, and other relevant technologies, with a focus on innovation and improvement.


Behavioral/General Competencies:

Highly organized, motivated individual with excellent communication and presentation skills, strong customer orientation, and proficiency in Cisco or Juniper technologies.
