Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to lead the development of our server-side web applications. Your primary responsibility will be designing and implementing cutting-edge logic, integrating front-end components, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop innovative web-based applications using PHP on premium service platforms.
  2. Collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team to build state-of-the-art applications.
  3. Oversee the entire web application development life cycle from concept to delivery and post-launch support.
  4. Analyze website and application requirements to provide expert solutions.
  5. Write clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable, and modular codes.
  6. Design and maintain databases efficiently.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug applications effectively.
  8. Perform UI/backend tests to optimize application performance.
  9. Collaborate with frontend and mobile app developers on backend needs.
  10. Stay adaptable to changing specifications or schedules.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience as a PHP developer with expertise in Laravel or similar frameworks.
  3. Proficient skills in PHP MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  4. Strong relational database skills with MySQL.
  5. Experience with database design and administration.
  6. Understanding of open source projects like WordPress is a plus.
  7. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc).
  8. Adherence to best coding practices.
  9. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
