Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Social Media Content Creation and Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Social Media Specialist. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content for social media channels, as well as managing social media accounts and analyzing performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including writing captions, designing graphics, and selecting multimedia assets.
  2. Manage social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing social media posts using social media management tools.
  3. Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly to inquiries and comments in a professional and engaging manner.
  4. Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to inform content strategy and optimization efforts.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing strategies and brand messaging.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Passion for social media and familiarity with major social media platforms and their features.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and compelling social media content.
  • Basic design skills and proficiency in graphic design software is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media metrics and insights to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with social media management, digital marketing, or related internships is preferred but not required.
