Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Specialist to conduct laboratory tests on various materials and substances, including geotechnical and transportation tests. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Laboratory Testing: Conduct laboratory tests on various materials and substances, including geotechnical and transportation tests.
  2. Maintenance of Equipment: Ensure that all laboratory equipment is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Qualification: Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute.
  2. Experience: Master's degree in Geotech Engineering/Structural Engineering/Transportation Engineering with experience in Geotech & Transportation tests.

Skills:

  1. Machinery Operation: Ability to operate machines in both laboratories.

Candidate Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Academic Performance: Candidates with 3rd Division in their academic career or weak academic profile are not eligible.
  2. NUST Employees: NUST employees with less than 01 year service with NUST and/or absence of NOC from Head of Institution are not eligible.
  3. Pursuing Degree: Candidates who are pursuing the required degree are not eligible.
  4. Medical Fitness: Medically unfit candidates are not eligible.

Selection Process:

  1. Shortlisting: Only short-listed candidates will be considered/called for test/interview.
  2. Communication: Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued an offer letter.

  1. Government Servants: Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department/organizations.
