Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Knitted Apparel

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest quality standards in our knit garment production process.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and auditing, with experience in textile quality control, inspection protocols, and customer specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits of knitwear products to ensure compliance with quality standards and buyer specifications.
  • Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement measures.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of audit records and reports.
  • Participate in pre-production meetings to understand quality parameters and share risk assessments.
  • Validate quality processes and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures at each production stage.
  • Assist in training staff on updated quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders during audits and client visits.
Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or auditing in a knitwear manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fabric behavior, garment construction, and quality standards for knit products.
  • Familiarity with AQL standards and international buyer quality requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP exposure is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
