We are seeking an experienced Tax Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in taxation and be able to coordinate with tax authorities, officers and lawyers to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordination with Tax Authorities: Coordinate with tax authorities for the release of monthly sales tax refund claims and annual income tax refund claims.
  • Appeal Effect: Coordinate with tax officers for the issuance of appeal effect for favorable judgments of appellate fora and rectification orders.
  • FBR Audits: Extract details for following FBR audits as well as several queries raised during tax audits including pre-refund sales tax audit, post-refund sales tax audit, annual sales tax audit and annual income tax audit.
  • Withholding Income Taxes: Monitor withholding income taxes.
  • Tax Lawyers/Consultants: Coordinate with tax lawyers/tax consultants of cases pending before appellate fora for judicious/expeditious decision and reply to queries thereon.
  • Purchase Invoices: Prepare and file condonation claims regarding purchase invoices which were not paid within the prescribed period on a monthly basis.
  • Tax Reporting Process: Oversee the identification and implementation of improvements to the tax reporting process at SSGC (including discrepancies identified in prior years' audit for future improvement).
  • Tax Policy Requirements: Oversee management of tax-related initiatives by identifying, documenting and executing the tax policy requirements where necessary.
  • MIS Reports: Manage the preparation of MIS reports on a monthly basis for review by senior management.
