Backend Software Engineer

We're seeking an experienced developer to join our team. You'll be responsible for designing and building core software frameworks, APIs, and services. Your expertise will also involve creating scalable database architectures, implementing robust security measures, and ensuring seamless system integration.

  • Expertise in database architecture, API design, and system integration.
  • Design and build core software frameworks, APIs, and services.
  • Develop strong and powerful backend systems with complex features using MEAN or MERN stacks.
  • Translate complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces by following user-centered design principles.
  • Document and follow best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and meet business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software quality and performance.
  • Maintain high-quality codebases, write automated tests, and participate in code reviews.
  • Implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms, including caching and queuing systems.

For this role, we're looking for candidates with expertise in:

Technical Skills
  • Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript
  • Microservices Architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Database Management Systems (MongoDB)
  • Front-end frameworks (React, Angular)
  • Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Security Practices (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS)

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2-4 years of professional experience as a Backend Software Engineer.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative project management tools.
