We are a dynamic logistics company in Pakistan, specializing in freight transportation with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction. As we expand our operations, we seek an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and streamline our Karachi warehouse and distribution activities.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics processes, implementing effective inventory management systems, and ensuring transparency and efficiency in all warehouse activities. Key responsibilities include operational management, inventory control, team leadership, process improvement, compliance and reporting, customer satisfaction, technology integration, and risk management.

Operational Management:

  1. Oversee all logistics and warehouse operations in Karachi, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatching of goods.
  2. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in all processes.
  3. Monitor daily operations to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Inventory Control:

  1. Implement effective inventory tracking systems to ensure accurate counting and recording of goods at all times.
  2. Utilize technology solutions such as barcode systems or inventory management software to enhance accuracy and reduce manual errors.
  3. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to prevent discrepancies.

Leadership and Team Management:

  1. Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to follow established procedures and maintain high performance standards.
  2. Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  3. Address any instances of misconduct or non-compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of managing logistics operations in a medium to large-sized organization.
  • Experience with implementing inventory management systems and technology solutions.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of logistics software and barcode systems is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
