About the Position

We seek an accomplished academic to fill a tenure-track professor position in Electrical and Computer Engineering. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, developing curriculum materials, and conducting research that contributes to the field.


Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver engaging lectures on topics such as Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, and Communication Systems.
  2. Develop and maintain curriculum materials aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  3. Conduct innovative research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.
  4. Supervise student projects, providing expert guidance and mentorship.
  5. Promote departmental research initiatives through outreach activities.
  6. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to departmental growth.
  7. Stay updated on the latest advancements in Electrical and Computer Engineering and integrate this knowledge into your teaching.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects.
  9. Ensure compliance with educational standards and prepare accreditation reports.

Requirements
  • Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • First-class honors with a minimum 70% or 3.00/4.00 CGPA.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Teaching/OBE Training Course completion.
  • Strong research background and publication record in reputable journals.
  • Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching experience in Electrical and Computer Engineering at a university level.
  • Strong industry connections and partnerships.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards.
