Content Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Director to lead our content strategy and team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation and management, with experience in developing and implementing content strategies that drive engagement and growth.

The Content Director will be responsible for overseeing the development of our content strategy, working closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role requires a creative and analytical leader who can motivate and mentor a team of writers, videographers, and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Content Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing director to develop a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Implementing Content Strategy: Manage the content team, monitor performance metrics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Team Management: Mentor and motivate a team of content creators, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
  • Content Development: Work with the team to develop new content ideas, formats, and channels that engage audiences and drive business results.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyze metrics to track content performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, English, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience producing and editing content, with 2+ years of managing a team of content creators.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Google Analytics; proficient in using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio of original content that has achieved measurable results.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing a team.
