Job Title: Visual Creative Specialist

A visual creative specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective visual communication strategies that engage and inspire target audiences. Their role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs and goals, before creating innovative solutions that meet those requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting client objectives and developing design concepts that align with their business strategy;
  • Estimating project timelines and providing accurate quotes for clients;
  • Conducting research to gather information and data required for design briefs;
  • Generating new ideas and concepts through creative thinking and innovation;
  • Presenting design concepts to clients or account managers and incorporating feedback;
  • Utilizing a range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD), to produce high-quality designs;
  • Proofreading to ensure accuracy and quality in all work products;
  • Contributing to the development of design briefs and presenting ideas and artwork;
  • Demonstrating illustrative skills through rough sketches and working on layouts and artworking pages ready for print;
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and design software, including InDesign, QuarkXPress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver, and Flash;
  • Commissioning illustrators and photographers as needed;
  • Working collaboratively with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists.
