Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

• This is a mid-senior level full-time Engineering and Information Technology position.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS for frontend and Python/Flask for backend.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Full-Stack Applications: You will design and develop scalable full-stack applications using ReactJS for frontend and Python/Flask for backend.
• Architect and Implement RESTful APIs: You will architect, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs to support data workflows and investment research.
• Build Internal Dashboards and Tools: You will build internal dashboards, analytics tools, and performance reporting systems for portfolio optimization.
• Collaborate with AI/ML Teams: You will collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate large language models (LLMs) and automate investment workflows.
• Develop Robust Systems: You will develop robust systems for backtesting, portfolio management, and financial data processing.
• Deploy and Maintain Services: You will deploy and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging cloud-native capabilities.
• Own CI/CD Pipelines: You will own CI/CD pipelines, implement DevOps best practices, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Support Real-Time Data Processing: You will support real-time data processing and API integrations with third-party financial platforms.
• Work Directly with Product and Investment Teams: You will work directly with product and investment teams to translate needs into technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong Understanding of Frontend and Backend Development: You must have a strong understanding of frontend (ReactJS) and backend (Python/Flask) development.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure: You must have experience working on cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), including deployment and monitoring.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines: You must be familiar with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architecture.
• Knowledge of LLMs and Machine Learning Tools: You must have knowledge of LLMs, machine learning tools, or experience integrating AI into products.
• Experience Building Tools for Financial Analysis: Experience building tools for financial analysis, systematic strategies, or portfolio management is highly desirable.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: You must be a proactive, resourceful problem-solver who takes ownership and works with minimal supervision.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills: You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to interface across functions and geographies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: You must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 Years of Experience as a Full Stack Engineer: You must have 3–5 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, ideally in high-performance or data-intensive environments.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, Python/Flask, and Modern Web Applications: You must be proficient in ReactJS, Python/Flask, and building modern web applications.
• Hands-on Experience with GCP or Similar Platforms: You must have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or similar (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps, Containerization, and CI/CD Best Practices: You must be familiar with DevOps, containerization (e.g., Docker), and CI/CD best practices.
• Exposure to AI/ML Integration and Quantitative Finance: Exposure to AI/ML integration, especially LLMs, and experience working with quantitative finance, data pipelines, or backtesting platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills in English: You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
