We seek an experienced video editor and animator who can take recorded footage and turn it into a polished and engaging project.

Main Responsibilities
  • Edit and manipulate film pieces to create a cohesive and engaging visual experience.
  • Analyze the production team's needs and specifications to deliver a high-quality final product.
  • Create a shot decision list to ensure continuity and consistency throughout the project.
  • Assemble the sequence of the film by trimming footage segments.
  • Integrate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the visual appeal.
  • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the production and post-production process.
  • Stay up-to-date with new editing technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Video Editor and animator.
  • Strong proficiency in digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, AfterEffects, and Final Cut).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing video editing ability.
  • Extensive knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and storytelling abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field.
