Senior Game Artist Job Description

At our studio, we strive to create engaging gaming experiences that push the boundaries of what is possible. As a senior game artist, you will be responsible for leading the creation of high-quality 2D and 3D art assets, working closely with designers and programmers to bring our vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Art Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain efficient workflows for creating and implementing art assets, ensuring seamless integration with our in-house tools and software.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior artists, providing feedback and guidance to help them grow in their roles.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project leads and producers to ensure timely completion of projects, managing scope, budget, and resources as needed.

We are looking for an experienced game artist who can lead by example, demonstrate exceptional technical skills, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Maya, Substance Painter, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and direct team members, provide constructive feedback, and empower others to take ownership of their work.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical issues quickly and efficiently.
