Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Manager to oversee our network infrastructure, ensuring its security and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security management, including design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Network Security Management:
  2. Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
  3. Perform vulnerability assessments and apply necessary patches to prevent unauthorized access and mitigate security risks.
  4. Monitor network traffic and security logs using tools like SIEM systems to detect and respond to suspicious activity.
  5. Develop, enforce, and update network security policies to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  6. Conduct regular penetration testing and security audits to evaluate and improve network defenses.
  7. Manage and support remote access solutions for distributed teams, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
  8. Manage and secure Microsoft 365 environment, including configuring security policies, user access permissions, MFA, and email filtering.
Remote Hardware Support
  1. Maintain and support remote hardware systems, including servers, routers, and other networking devices deployed at various locations.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues remotely using remote management tools to diagnose and fix problems without on-site intervention.
  3. Configure and deploy remote network monitoring tools to track hardware performance and proactively identify potential failures.
  4. Ensure that remote hardware is configured with adequate security settings, including encrypted communication and access controls.
  5. Provide end-to-end support for Microsoft 365 applications, including installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting for Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other services.
Incident Response & Resolution
  1. Act as the first point of contact for security incidents, performing root cause analysis and developing long-term solutions.
  2. Coordinate with the IT team and other stakeholders to contain and mitigate security breaches or network failures.
  3. Ensure business continuity by implementing disaster recovery and backup solutions for critical systems.
  4. Handle Microsoft 365-related incidents, including service disruptions, account compromise, phishing attempts, and access issues.
Documentation & Reporting
  1. Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, security policies, and incident responses.
  2. Prepare and present reports on network performance, security incidents, and system vulnerabilities to senior management.
  3. Create and maintain hardware inventory logs, ensuring that all devices are accounted for and maintained properly.
  4. Track and manage Microsoft 365 licenses, user activity, and policy enforcement, ensuring optimal use and compliance.
