About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast IT Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily BIT operations.

Responsibilities:

">
  • Install, set up, configure, operate, and maintain a wide variety of equipment involved in Broadcast IT, including News Automation Systems.
  • Troubleshoot broadcasting equipment at a system level and communicate with the office and manufacturer for problem-solving.
  • Keep equipment updated with the latest software releases from manufacturers.
  • Maintain technical equipment and systems to meet safety and technical standards with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Read and design engineering workflows.
  • Prepare and amend technical documents for projects throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements:

">
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Broadcast Television.
  • Familiarity with Grass Valley (GV) Automation system and ITX Playouts.
  • Experience with VIZRT Graphics engine, MOS, and tracking systems.
  • Understanding of computers, servers, NAS storage, IT systems, and networks.
  • Keen interest in broadcast technology, its development, and regional applications.
  • Knowledge of Cisco switches, VLANs.
