The Role of an E-commerce Quality Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit e-commerce listings to ensure compliance with platform policies.
  • Verify accuracy of product information, categorization, attributes, and descriptions.
  • Evaluate the quality of images and enhanced content for each listing.
  • Analyze pricing strategies and conduct competitor analysis.
  • Address customer complaints and enhance satisfaction through effective communication.
Conversion Rate and Sales Optimization:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve conversion rates and sales.
  • Provide actionable insights based on audits to optimize listings and performance.
  • Monitor and suggest improvements to boost rankings and sales.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with listing suppression or suspension.
  • Ensure adherence to platform guidelines to maintain visibility.
Purchase and Returns Quality Auditing:
  • Audit purchase and return quality to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze return reasons and purchase discrepancies to refine processes.
  • Implement efficient processes to streamline returns and enhance the purchase experience.
Competitor Analysis:
  • Analyze competitors to inform product positioning strategies.
  • Provide recommendations for market positioning and competitive advantage.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, suggestions, and next steps.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, changes, and improvements.
Support and Training:
  • Provide support and training on quality standards and best practices.
  • Assist in onboarding and guiding new team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce, product listing management, or quality auditing.
  • Strong understanding of online retail platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in auditing tools and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear feedback.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing best practices.
