Are you looking for a challenging role where you can utilize your performance testing skills to ensure the smooth operation of software applications?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Load Testing Engineer to join our team.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to design, develop, and execute comprehensive load tests on complex systems;
  • The successful candidate will contribute to our growing feature set by creating additional performance test cases;
  • Maintain and grow existing load testing setup to support intricate testing scenarios and cross-team integrations;
  • Mentor other QA team members regarding load testing best practices;
  • Develop load test scripts to validate functional and non-functional acceptance criteria as part of a continuous integration/deployment pipeline;
  • Write and execute manual tests where automated testing is not pragmatic;
  • Provide detailed bug reports to the technical team to resolve;
  • Work with product owners and technical teams to agree on acceptance criteria to stories or other functional and non-functional requirements;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated load tests using JavaScript/Java OOP language;
  • Usage of metrics tools which provide additional hardware usage data when running load tests (e.g., NewRelic);
  • Vast experience with Jenkins and Git;
  • Hands-on experience testing solutions in AWS cloud environments;
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
  • Positive and proactive attitude;
  • Good organization and time-management skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant load testing QA experience;
  • Strong knowledge of API concepts and testing (manual, Postman);
  • Strong knowledge of JMeter usage and concepts;
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated load tests with test data preparation;
  • Experience with monitoring tools like NewRelic.

Bonus Skills:

  • University Degree in Computer Science;
  • Experience with JMeter alternatives;
  • Experience of compliance requirements in Cloud environments (e.g., SOC2, GDPR).
