Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the installation, operations, and maintenance of gas quality measurement equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the equipment and addressing any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the installation, calibration, and maintenance of gas quality measurement equipment to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  3. Develop and implement quality control systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of gas quality measurements.
  4. Monitor and analyze gas quality data to identify trends and anomalies, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other departments and business processes.
  6. Evaluate gas analysis results and identify areas for improvement in the measurement process.
  7. Perform spot sampling and analysis of gas samples from various locations to ensure accurate energy-based billing.
  8. Participate in Joint Meter Check (JMC) activities to verify the accuracy of gas quality measurements.
  9. Coordinate with procurement teams to plan and procure necessary spares and equipment.
  10. Monitor the verification and inspection process for procured spares and equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, preferably in mechanical or chemical fields, with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in gas quality measurement and management.

Key qualifications include:

  • Strong knowledge of gas quality measurement principles and technologies.
  • Experience with gas quality measurement equipment installation, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Proven track record of improving gas quality measurement processes and outcomes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
