Mechanical and electrical systems are crucial components of any facility. As a HVAC Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair these systems to ensure they operate efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

The day-to-day tasks of the Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Department include maintenance, repair, and overhauling of various HVAC equipment such as air handling units, fan coil units, chillers, water coolers, direction expansion units, split ACs, floor standing ACs, and air distribution networks.

You will be responsible for performing planned preventive and breakdown maintenance on HVAC equipment, keeping maintenance records up-to-date, and providing daily task updates to your supervisor.

The specific duties of this role include:

  • Repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment in an efficient manner to ensure proper functioning.
  • Executing planned preventive maintenance activities on all HVAC equipment according to defined procedures to minimize frequent breakdowns and increase their lifespan.
  • Recording all necessary information on job activity to maintain a history and other relevant data in the facilities and equipment management system.
  • Inspecting and observing assigned equipment/services to minimize breakdowns and gather feedback.
  • Troubleshooting problems with HVAC equipment.
  • Following safety procedures at work.
  • Performing any other related tasks assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A matriculate level education.
  • A preferred Certificate course or Diploma in Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC).
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • The ability to understand and write simple Urdu and English.
