Job Description

The Helpline Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the implementation of tasks, ensuring achievement of program objectives, and introducing new approaches as needed.

  1. Review and follow up on task implementation to ensure goals are met.
  2. Analyze and evaluate program performance to guarantee objectives are achieved.
  3. In collaboration with the M&E/HR Officer, introduce new methods and practices in program implementation if required.
  4. Identify areas for follow-up and action from project documents.
  5. Monitor staff work for implementation of project activities with support from the M&E/HR Officer.
  6. Prepare quarterly progress reports summarizing activities and outputs.
  7. Implement annual work plans detailing specific activities for each quarter.
  8. Ensure targets are being achieved.
  9. Facilitate project-monitoring visits by stakeholders in consultation with the M&E/HR Officer.
  10. Organize regular consultation meetings as circumstances demand.
Key Responsibilities
  • Master's Degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Development and Social sector or an NGO.
  • Proven team leadership skills, with a focus on children and women's issues.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Development and Social sector or an NGO.
  • Proven team leadership skills, with a focus on children and women's issues.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
