Procurement Leader

We are seeking a skilled Divisional Manager Procurement to lead procurement efforts in Karachi.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term procurement plans.

Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities to reduce purchasing costs through improved buying patterns and supply channels, as well as leading a team of sourcing managers, buyers, and professionals to achieve established targets and standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of applying lean techniques to optimize the supply chain and reducing costs, while also collaborating with colleagues to communicate the financial impacts of lead times.

Additionally, they will stay up-to-date on market price trends and supplier technology roadmaps, ensuring customer-oriented service by establishing credibility and relationships.

The role requires fostering a positive and inclusive culture through education and communication, coaching the team to achieve maximum potential, and developing learning and development plans.

The ideal candidate will also analyze data to identify procurement challenges and implement solutions, communicate and apply procurement guidelines across the business, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions and strong partnerships.

Incorporating CSR, sustainability, and innovation into all activities is also essential for this role.

Pursuing year-over-year process improvement and efficiency, maintaining high ethical standards in the purchasing process, and reporting any compliance issues to management are additional key responsibilities.

• MBA or BE (Mechanical) degree with international certification in Supply Chain Management
• 12-15 years of experience in material management, inventory control, and supply chain management
