Responsibilities:

  1. Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
  2. Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
  3. Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
  4. Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
  5. Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
  6. Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
  7. Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
  8. Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
  9. Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
  10. Supervising or training project team members.
  11. Maintaining electrical equipment.
  12. Working with a variety of technicians.
  13. Conducting on-site assessments to determine the client's security needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  14. Collaborating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of security systems.
  15. Performing system integration and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
  16. Providing training and technical support to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
  17. Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in security system technologies.
  18. Conducting regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the reliability and functionality of installed systems.
  19. Preparing detailed documentation, including installation plans, system configurations, and maintenance records.
  20. Collaborating with the sales team to provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities and project planning.

Key Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 3-6 months of experience in installing and supporting security systems.
  • Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with various security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, hydraulic, and alarm systems.
  • Proficiency in system configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with networking principles and protocols related to security systems.
  • Relevant certifications in security systems (e.g., Certified Security System Installer, Certified Security Professional) are a plus.
