Job Overview
As a People Engagement Specialist at Contour, your primary focus will be on enhancing employee engagement and fostering open communication between current and prospective staff through effective management of all internal communications and events. You will collaborate closely with our team to develop and execute strategic employee engagement initiatives, aimed at cultivating a culture of excellence. Your role will involve promoting a positive organizational culture and ensuring the successful implementation of internal employee engagement and HR communications campaigns and events, while also working with marketing and employees to enhance awareness and engagement among the workforce by creating initiatives that align with the company's core objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support employee engagement programs and initiatives that contribute to Contour's organizational goals and culture.
- Develop and disseminate effective employee relation strategies and retention initiatives to foster a culture of excellence.
- Establish and maintain clear measurement standards to provide valuable insights for continuous improvement and increased employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Ensure consistent messaging and alignment to overall company and HR strategy.
- Promote the adoption of relevant social media best practices within the corporate culture and support the company's internal social media-related engagement projects, recommending new systems and vehicles to enhance information quality, consistency, and timeliness.
- Conduct research and collaborate with various vendors (corporate gifts, printing, sound, decoration, and other event management vendors) and internal departments to develop proactive engagement plans.
- Serve as a project point person for specific segments of employee engagement and communications programs, including contests, meeting logistics, meeting recaps, budget summaries, etc., to guarantee successful program implementation.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing Department to create regular employee engagement communication vehicles using multimedia messages.
- Support the design and administration components of employee engagement surveys.
- Serve as the Human Resources communications coordinator for the launch of all Contour programs and events.
- Analyze data and identify workplace improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of employee relations programs using metrics.
- Stay informed about organizational operations and initiatives, identifying areas where additional internal associate engagement communication is required and develop a plan to address those needs.
- Support the development of engagement teams within the cross-functional areas of Human Resources and internal business partners alike.
- Perform other tasks as required and assigned.
