Job Title: Financial Planning Lead

Job Summary:

  • To process and coordinate all applicable tax-related activities, ensure timely submission of tax returns and engage with tax authorities.
  • Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies and structures for the organization.
  • Ensure Bank deductions and deposits are made in accordance with tax laws, track advance tax deductions, prepare withholding tax, advance tax, and sales tax/FED statements/returns as required by applicable laws.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to address tax queries, manage court cases, assessments/appeals at tax forums, and oversee tax cash flow.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA, MBA, or Masters in Finance or Taxation highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, time management skills; ability to negotiate, self-start, resolve conflicts, and work effectively within a team.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Income Tax Ordinance, 2011, Sales Tax Act, Federal Excise Act, and related circulars and their interpretation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in processing tax deposits, deductions, and returns, MS Office suite especially Excel.
