Assistant / Deputy Manager Networks & Information Security

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Network and Cybersecurity Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in shaping our network infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, IT, or telecom, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator. They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. SUPPLYING LAN/WAN INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our LAN/WAN infrastructure, including managing Cisco Meraki environments, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
  2. MANAGING CLOUD-BASED NETWORKS: Experience in Azure/AWS networking and systems/environment management is essential for this role.
  3. DEPLOYING SD-WAN TECHNOLOGIES: A strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies and the ability to deploy them effectively is critical for this position.
  4. BUILDING AND INSTALLING NETWORK APPLIANCES: The candidate should have experience building and installing network appliances, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  5. AUTHENTICATION AND SECURITY SYSTEMS: Familiarity with authentication and security systems, including Microsoft-centric environments (2019 Server, Win10 & Win11 Desktops), is essential.
  6. SCRIPTING SKILLS: Strong scripting skills for command-line executions are required.
  7. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
    1. MINIMUM 5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE AS A NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
    2. Degree in Computer Science, IT or Telecom, or higher qualification. CCNA certification is preferred.
    3. EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
    4. CREATIVE THINKER WITH ABILITY TO FORMULATE AND EXPRESS CONTRARIAN VIEWPOINT
    5. ABLE TO WORK IN FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT
