Job Overview:

A challenging opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a bachelor's degree from a reputable university, possessing at least 2 years of experience in the field.

PPEC registration is mandatory for this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough feasibility studies to inform senior management decisions on mechanical projects.
  2. Participate in material inspections, ensuring adherence to quality assurance protocols and industry standards.
  3. Evaluate technical bids for engineering goods such as scrubbers, filter separators, and assorted valves.
  4. Collaborate in preparing comprehensive technical feasibility assessments for mechanical projects.
  5. Apply in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and standards within the gas or energy industry.
  6. Monitor project execution at construction sites, verifying compliance with design specifications, applicable codes, and standards.
  7. Assist in reviewing project schedules and timelines, highlighting potential issues.
  8. Source and collaborate with vendors for mechanical components and services, ensuring reliable and cost-effective suppliers are selected.
  9. Identify and assess potential risks associated with mechanical projects, developing effective mitigation strategies.
  10. Actively participate in the installation, construction, and commissioning of mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  11. Maintain compliance with the risk management framework.
  12. Engage actively in risk management activities across the organization.
  13. Ensure timely identification, reporting, recording, and management of key risks.
  14. Receive training in risk management as required.
