The role of an Accountant involves managing all aspects of a company's financial transactions and records. This includes preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports, statements, and budgets.

A key aspect of this position is analyzing financial data and providing recommendations for improvement. Ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations is also crucial.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Accountant will handle all tax-related matters, including filing returns and dealing with tax authorities. Collaboration with other departments and providing financial insights to support decision-making are also essential skills.

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in the Consumer Goods industry. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting are critical.

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, and professional certification such as ACCA or CMA is preferred.
