Anthropometric Support Role

The role of a Measurement Support Specialist is to provide critical support in anthropometric measurements, data management, and awareness sessions. This individual will play a key part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of data collected during field activities.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MUAC, weight, and height/length measurements for children and pregnant/lactating women in accordance with BNP protocols.
• Maintain and regularly update TSFP and OTP registers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data recording standards.
• Conduct awareness sessions on social and behavior change communication, focusing on nutrition, hygiene, and maternal and child health as per BNP guidelines.
• Ensure all anthropometric equipment is clean, well-maintained, and securely stored.
• Support the preparation of daily and weekly reports related to measurements and awareness sessions.

• Additional Responsibilities:
• Manage beneficiary flow at the Field Center and maintain the Crowd Controller Register to ensure organized service delivery.
• Participate in need-based field visits to support social mobilization activities.
• Assist in the follow-up of defaulters and due cases, especially SAM and MAM cases, as directed by the Field Coordinator. Record feedback and assist with proper documentation of follow-up outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in community-based health/nutrition programs.
• Prior experience in conducting anthropometric measurements and working in CMAM/TSFP/OTP settings is preferable.
