The role of a College and Career Counselor is to guide and support students in making informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
Purpose:
- To help students understand their strengths and explore various career paths.
- To plan for life after school.

Experience, Skills & Competencies:
- Five to eight years of experience in career counseling, preferably with a focus on middle school students.
- Familiarity with career guidance frameworks and student profile development strategies.
- Awareness of CBSE and Cambridge curricula is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and faculty.
- Empathy and ability to connect with young adolescents.
- Proficiency in workshops, presentations, and facilitating group sessions.
- Proficiency in using tools for documentation and data management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Skilled in using student management tools and communication software.
- Creative problem-solving abilities to design engaging student activities.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with industry trends and practices.
