Pediatric Pharmacist

• Dispense drugs in inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory pharmacies
• Review and process physician orders for accurate therapeutic doses
• Monitor laboratory reports for proper indication of antibiotics, drug to drug interactions and duplication of same class
• Ensure timely delivery of medication to nursing units and patients
• Verify accuracy of labels before dispensing
• Complete expiry of drug list accurately and on time
• Assist patient counseling for outpatient prescriptions and maintenance of cash
• Prepare cytotoxic drugs, TPN solutions, IVPB mixtures, sterile injections and bulk compounding

• A Doctorate or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university
• Current registration with pharmacy council Pakistan
• At least one year experience in a reputable organization
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy functioning and processes
• Sound knowledge of physiology, pharmacology and pharmaceutical concepts
• Knowledge of locally available drugs, pharmaceutical drugs and their indications
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with medical professionals and patients
• Willingness to work in shift duties
