Cybersecurity Officer Position

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Officer to lead our security strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protecting our financial transactions from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Enforce Security Policies: Create and enforce cybersecurity policies for our fintech ecosystem, ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and UAE financial regulations.
  2. Cyber Threat Detection and Response: Identify and respond to cyber threats, fraud attempts, and security breaches in a timely manner.
  3. AWS Environment Security: Secure AWS environments, API gateways, and cloud-based databases to prevent unauthorized access.
  4. Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessments: Regularly conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks.
  5. Identity and Access Management: Implement identity & access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and encryption to secure user access and data.
  6. Collaborate with DevOps: Work with DevOps to ensure secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud configurations.
  7. Employee Training: Provide training to employees on security best practices and phishing prevention to minimize security risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Masters in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AWS Security Specialty.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, SIEM tools, intrusion detection, and endpoint security.
  • Experience securing AWS environments, API security, and cloud computing.
  • Ability to respond to cybersecurity incidents and implement disaster recovery plans.
  • Strong understanding of fintech security threats and fraud detection techniques.

Work Details:

Monday-Friday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, Khayaban e Ittehad, Phase 6, Karachi. Tax-Free salary.
