Job Title: Senior Hospital Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Hospital Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy management, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the efficient operation of hospital pharmacy sections and units, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Formulary Development: Collaborate with the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) committee to develop and implement a hospital formulary that aligns with best practices and ensures patient safety.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Prepare duty rosters, schedules, and supervise pharmacy staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition drugs in a timely manner, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Process Improvement: Implement developmental plans in pharmacy as required by organizational policies.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree (MPhil/MPharm/DPharm) from a reputable institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a hospital pharmacy environment, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, inter-professional, and supervisory skills, with strong computer literacy and relevant software skills for inventory control and scheduling.
  • Attitude: Effective leadership, professional, humane, and ethical attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
