Job Title: Senior Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Director to lead our transmission operations team. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership for the development of profitable business opportunities, maintain relationships with major industry contacts, and oversee gas control, operations, maintenance, compression, and measurement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan, design, and manage the implementation of gas pipeline projects, including feasibility studies, budgeting, resource allocation, and coordination with regulatory bodies.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare project-related documentation, reports, and presentations for formal approvals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of engineers involved in different activities of pipeline projects, promoting prompt communication, authority delegation, and best output/effectiveness for time-bound targets.
  • Network Simulation and Analysis: Conduct transmission network simulation studies and analysis for existing, future indigenous, and gas import infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement.
  • In-House Design and Engineering: Develop in-house designs and engineering solutions for pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Engineering Graduate (16 years of education) with 17 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in mechanical engineering, with 5 years' experience in senior management/leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in the Oil & Gas sector is preferred.
  • Age should not exceed 57 years.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with regulatory affairs and ability to coordinate with government and municipal authorities.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and experience in designing and engineering pipeline projects.
