Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement secure, scalable and efficient cloud solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead cloud migrations, develop architecture strategies and support digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix
  • Shell Scripting skills
  • Hands-on experience with KVM or ESXi hypervisors
  • Familiarity with virtualization managers (oVirt or vCenter)
  • Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes or other container runtimes
  • Network bridges, bonds and host networking
  • SAN/NAS storage implementations
  • Familiarity with YAML, JSON and XML for configuration
  • Packet/traffic analysis tools
    • Relational databases

Candidates with additional skills will have an added advantage:

  • Python and SQL proficiency
  • OpenStack implementation understanding
  • Container platforms like OpenShift or Tanzu knowledge
  • VPCs and VNets familiarity
  • Terraform and Ansible experience
  • In-memory databases like Redis or Memcached
  • Certification in a major cloud provider
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
    • 6-8 years of technical experience
    • 3-4 successful hands-on deployments
    • Motivated, learning-oriented, straightforward and a strong team player
    • Design and implement cloud and infrastructure architecture
    • Lead deployment of secure and scalable infrastructure solutions
    • Evaluate current systems and suggest improvements
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure planning
    • Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs
    • Troubleshoot performance and infrastructure-related issues
