Pharmacy Librarian

We are seeking an experienced librarian to join our academic team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library resources, providing research support, and delivering information literacy instruction to students and faculty.

• Manage the library collection, including print and digital resources, to meet the needs of pharmacy and health sciences students and staff.
• Provide research assistance and support to ensure effective utilization of library resources.
• Develop and deliver information literacy instruction sessions to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty members to integrate library resources into the curriculum and promote academic excellence.
• Maintain accurate records and statistics to inform strategic decisions.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in library and information science to provide high-quality services.

Requirements:

• A Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or equivalent is essential for this role.
• Experience working in an academic library setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pharmacy and health sciences resources and databases would be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills are necessary to effectively interact with students, faculty, and staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve shared goals.
• Familiarity with library management systems and technology is required to manage resources efficiently.
