As an Event-Driven Architecture Specialist, you will design and implement scalable, real-time systems using Azure Service Bus and Apache Kafka.

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. You must have 5+ years of experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on expertise in Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Apache Kafka is essential. Strong knowledge of .NET technologies (C#, Web API) is also necessary.
  • You should have a deep understanding of messaging patterns, CQRS, and event sourcing. Proficiency with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and autoscaling via KEDA is also required.
  • Experience implementing monitoring and observability in distributed environments is necessary. A strong understanding of security in event-driven ecosystems is also crucial.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required. Experience defining enterprise event taxonomies and schemas is also beneficial.
  • Ability to influence and mentor development teams in event-driven design is essential. Familiarity with Protobuf, Avro, or Kafka Schema Registry for contract validation is also necessary.
Job Description

As an Event-Driven Architecture Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to design and implement event-driven microservices using Azure Service Bus and Apache Kafka. You will define domain and integration events, implement asynchronous communication patterns using topics, queues, partitions, and event routing via Azure Service Bus and Kafka.

Additionally, you will build and deploy cloud-native .NET applications following CQRS and event sourcing principles. You will configure, optimize, and monitor Kafka clusters, utilizing Azure Service Bus features such as dead-lettering, duplicate detection, and message sessions.

Furthermore, you will set up tracing, logging, and monitoring using Azure Monitor, Kafka metrics, Prometheus, Grafana, and Application Insights. You will also deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS), and autoscale workloads using KEDA. Collaboration with DevOps for seamless CI/CD pipelines is also essential.

Lastly, you will enforce security and governance for messaging platforms, including encryption, access control, audit logging, and schema validation. You will maintain technical documentation and mentor teams on event-first design principles.
