We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our team. As a Tax Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax returns, as well as providing support for various tax-related projects.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns for multiple business entities. This includes preparing tax payment estimates, extensions, cash tax projections, and planning. Additionally, the candidate will assist with annual state and local apportionment data packages and quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with IFRS.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with federal and state regulatory audits, including responding to information requests and reviewing tax assessments for accuracy. Furthermore, they will be able to contact US Tax authorities and handle any notices.

In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Tax Manager to ensure that all tax responsibilities are met. If you have a strong understanding of US GAAP tax accounting principles and excellent analytical and decision-making skills, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, business, or specialization in tax. You will also need to have great interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential, as well as exceptional time management and organizational skills.

You will also need to have a working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP tax accounting principles and good knowledge of the U.S. tax system. Experience with Excel applications, other Microsoft Office products, and accounting business applications is highly preferred. Additionally, 3-5 years of US tax experience and CPA certification are strongly preferred.
