Sales and Marketing Representative

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales and marketing professional to join our team. As a Sales and Marketing Representative, you will be responsible for managing office files, coordinating with courier companies, assisting in stock-taking activities, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all office files, including sales invoices and orders, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  2. Coordinate with courier companies to pick up and deliver orders to customers.
  3. Assist in stock-taking activities to maintain an up-to-date inventory.
  4. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through meetings, calls, and communication.
  5. Receive orders via telephone, in-person, or through letters, and verify their status for preparation and packaging.
  6. Promote sales growth by advising customers on new product developments and discussing special promotions.
  7. Represent the organization at exhibitions, demonstrations, events, and outdoor stalls to showcase products and services.
  8. Negotiate agreements and close sales while ensuring delivery terms and product information are complete.
  9. Manage account receivables, handle customer calls for collections, and process credit and debit notes.
  10. Communicate effectively with the accounts department regarding customer account upgrades and discrepancies.
  11. Liaise daily with the accounts department for updates on online payments deposited by customers.
  12. Generate sale orders and dispatch them to customers in a timely manner.
  13. E nsure accuracy of generated customer invoices based on packing details.
  14. Book shipping expenses into customer accounts after receiving bills from courier companies.
  15. Provide awareness to walk-in customers about books, cards, and Quran that help solve daily routine problems.
  16. Present Dua cards and books attractively.
  17. Supply syllabi to Al-Huda students and manage their requirements.
  18. Dress neatly and wear clean uniform/clothes.
  19. Welcome customers with a smiling face.
  20. Answer customer queries satisfactorily.
  21. Inform about faulty products.
  22. No eating allowed in the book shop, stall, or Office; exceptions only in emergencies.
  23. Prevent irrelevant persons from sitting in the stall area or on the counter.
  24. Present Islamic teachings to attract people to Islam products.
  25. Do not allow credit facility to cash customers or registered branches without permission.
  26. Care for official assets used by you.
  27. Inform line manager/HOD about damaged office items.
  28. Ensure counter position before leaving the book shop.
  29. Note daily routine issues, suggestions, and information in a notebook.
  30. Maintain workplace cleanliness and spray insect killer regularly.
  31. Display authentic and approved products from Research & Publications.
  32. Perform any other duty assigned by the HOD.
