Accounts Payable Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable department.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Process invoices and match them with purchase orders and receiving documents.

  2. Obtain necessary approvals for payment processing.

  3. Prepare and execute payment runs.

  4. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and payment records.

  6. Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.

  7. Assist with month-end closing activities and audits.

  8. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.

  9. Assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
