Dynamic Website Developer

We are seeking a skilled web application developer to build dynamic websites, integrate design into web-based applications, and customize open source CMS systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in HTML/CSS, PHP, and web application design patterns, including frameworks like CakePHP, Codeigniter, etc.
  • User interface requirements analysis in collaboration with the development team.
  • Leadership skills to spearhead work and effective communication with teammates.
  • Developing exciting modules to enhance daily internet usage for work or play.
  • Enhancing the technical team with programming brilliance, developing web applications, and writing algorithms.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting web work to improve functionality, reducing complexity and increasing elegance.
  • Customizing themes of different technologies including WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal, OpenCart, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Strong experience in object-oriented design and development.
  • Experience in relational database development (MySQL, SQLite).
  • Able to estimate effort, prioritize, and deliver on commitments.
  • Preferrable knowledge of web development frameworks: TurboGears, CodeIgniter, Ruby on rails, etc.
  • Customization of Joomla, WordPress, and other Open source CMS using PHP/MySQL.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Attentive to detail with high creativity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and oral/written communication skills.
  • Self-managed, decisive, and results-focused.
  • Optional and preferred knowledge of Flash, ActionScript, Flex, etc.
  • Social App Development - Experience in building social sites or apps (Facebook, etc.).
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines of multiple priorities.
