Job Opportunity: Software Application Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a software application specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to create high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documents, outlining the technical specifications for software applications.
  • Code Implementation: Develop and deliver code updates in line with requirements and design specifications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, component integration testing (CIT), and happy scenario testing, providing documented proof of successful implementation.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain and update project documentation, system-specific service documentation, and release notes, installation guides, operation procedures, and operational handover documentation.
  • Project Updates: Generate regular and on-demand project updates, delivery reports, and status of points planned/consumed/available, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Proof of Concepts: Conduct proof of concepts (PoC), solution capability checks, and validations when required, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Deliver training and knowledge transfer restricted to project/enhancement functional scope and new/updated functionalities, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
  • Tool Proficiency: Work effectively with tools and frameworks used by the organization, including JIRA, Bitbucket, and other specified tools, leveraging expertise to drive productivity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development and solution design, with a proven track record of delivering results-oriented solutions.
  • Expertise in Java and .NET application development, with hands-on experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, and DevOps frameworks, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient workflow.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
