Warehouse Operations Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing warehouse activities, guaranteeing efficient operations and accurate inventory control. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse management, including resource allocation, SOP development, and documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage resources required for smooth warehouse operations.
  2. Develop and implement Inbound and Outbound Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage warehouse stock effectively.
  4. Document all warehouse operations and transactions.
  5. Facilitate customer selectors and provide guidance within the warehouse.
  6. Ensure timely sampling of cotton arrivals at warehouses.
  7. Verify on-time and in-full delivery to customers.
  8. Accurately weigh trucks departing from warehouses.
  9. Conduct tare weighment of cotton bales stored in the warehouse.
  10. Perform moisture testing for all cotton arrivals at the warehouse.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in handling warehouse operations.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively.
  • Experience in warehouse and inventory management.
