Site Reliability Engineer - Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, drive automation, and enhance infrastructure resilience.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous Integration & Deployment: Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Build and Maintain Docker Container Images: Manage all associated dependencies.
Environment Setup & Maintenance:
  • Configure, Automate, and Maintain Environments: Ensure consistency across diverse infrastructures.
  • Process Automation: Focus on increasing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Cluster Management:
  • Deploy and Manage Large-Scale Kubernetes Clusters: MySQL clusters, storage solutions, ELK stacks, and Redis.
  • High Availability and Resilience: Ensure infrastructure is always up and running.
Automation & Configuration Management:
  • Leverage Tools like Ansible and Puppet: Automate environment setup and simplify configuration management.
Application Modernization:
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Transition legacy monolithic applications to microservices architectures.
Dashboard & Integration Development:
  • Create Dashboards and Integrate Components: Improve visibility into infrastructure and application performance.
Operational Automation:
  • Utilize APIs, CLI Tools, and Custom Scripting: Automate repetitive operational tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Operating Systems: Proficient in Unix-based environments, including RedHat and Ubuntu.
  • Build & CI Tools: Experience with build systems and CI/CD tools.
  • Virtualization & Containerization: Hands-on experience with VMware, Docker containers, and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Platform CLI Tools: Familiarity with CLI tools for various platforms.
  • API Integration: Ability to interact with REST APIs.
  • Container Orchestration & Management: Expertise with on-prem Kubernetes and Docker Compose.
  • Configuration Management & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Skilled in tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.
  • Monitoring & Logging Tools: Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, and SolarWinds.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Source Control: Proficient in Git for version control and team collaboration.
