Senior Web Developer & Designer

The ideal candidate should possess a strong portfolio of web design projects that demonstrate expertise in design systems, web brand identity, and user experience.

You will work closely with the designer, accounts manager, and content writer to create designs that enhance brand presence and drive user engagement.

This is a goal-oriented role that requires a resourceful web designer and developer with 2-5 years of experience.

You must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment as a team player.

Your ability to see the big picture, communicate well, and seek to create a phenomenal UX/UI is essential.

You enjoy taking on challenges and are not afraid to take calculated risks. Minimal supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a scalable website structure using WP blocks and pages maintenance
  • Develop and implement the user interface of the web presence for company brands
  • Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, graphically appealing, and brand-consistent websites and landing pages, as well as relevant banners and artworks for social media
  • Continuously improve and optimize user experience for sites
  • Contribute ideas and input to solve usability challenges, support business goals, and deliver an excellent user experience
  • Maintain multiple websites and e-commerce platforms
  • Maintain and develop existing websites built using WordPress
  • Create social media ad campaigns, Google ads, and email newsletters
  • Optimize website performance, including Core Web Vitals, desktop, and mobile speed
  • Configure and monitor servers, and create emails
  • Manage WordPress plugins; Implement and roll-out A/B tests within the WordPress application
Requirements:
  • 2-5+ years of professional web development experience
  • WordPress custom theme/plugin development from scratch
  • Experience with website speed optimization / LCP
  • Strong understanding of WordPress theme customization and plugin development
  • Strong knowledge of WooCommerce and payment gateway integration from APIs
  • Ability to follow specifications, work independently, and have excellent follow-through skills
  • Critical thinker, attention to detail, and outstanding analytical skills
