IT Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves overseeing technology infrastructure and business applications to drive organizational efficiency.

• Plan, implement, manage, and maintain the organization's IT systems.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations on information technology software and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and IT management, with experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining technology infrastructure and business applications.

1. Coordinate various projects and activities to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
2. Design technical training courses for personnel in computer application usage.
3. Engineer computer networks for reliable communication applications.
4. Maintain computer hardware and software through service contractors for instructional materials and district operations availability.
5. Monitor fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activity for accuracy, generated revenues, budgeted expenses, and fiscal practices.
6. Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars for conveying and gathering information.
7. Perform personnel functions such as interviewing, evaluating, supervising, etc., for adequate staffing, productivity enhancement, and objective achievement within budget.
8. Prepare various materials (reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals) for documentation, written reference, and information conveyance.
9. Research software applications and hardware requirements for previewing products and providing purchase recommendations.
10. Respond to inquiries for information provision and direction.
11. Serve as liaison to software/hardware providers for conveying and receiving information and coordinating district activities.
12. Involved in designing and developing both open source and desktop software applications in PHP/MySQL, ASP.NET (MVC)/MSSQL Server, C#.

A graduate degree in Computer Science or related field with more than 3 years of software development experience, 5 years of IT management experience, and 3 years of training experience is preferred.
