Visionary UI Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly digital interfaces/screens that enhance the taxpayer's experience with our digital services.

The UI Designer will collaborate with service designers and other team members to understand user requirements, create user interfaces for web and mobile applications, considering user experience and accessibility, develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual design concepts, work on the integration of visual and interactive elements to enhance user engagement, develop a comprehensive design system (component library), ensure consistency in design across various digital touchpoints, keep up-to-date with UI design trends and best practices, conduct usability testing and gather user feedback for iterative design improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences
  • Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Develop and implement effective design solutions that meet business objectives
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gathering user feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UI/UX design, or a related field
  • Proven experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work
  • Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch)
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and web accessibility
  • Excellent visual design and layout skills
  • Expertise in design systems and brand guidelines is a must
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • 2-3 years of work experience in related field
